
She was born in Henry County, September 24, 1931 to Charles Eldon Keys and Maude Ellen Grant Keys. She retired from DuPont after 35 years of service and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Alex Cannaday and her daughter, Deborah Lynn Cannaday.
The funeral service will be held Monday, February 8, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with Pastor Jim Steele officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., prior to the funeral service.
She is survived by one son, James Barry Cannaday and wife Chrissy Lynn of Martinsville; two grandchildren, Thomas Adam Cannaday, Heather Young and four great-grandchildren.
