We are so sorry to hear about Mike's Passing. He touched so many lives and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. 

I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was a wonderful friend who was willing to go the extra mile for anyone. His faith was phenomenal and he was a tremendous assent to Stokesland, his family and the community. At this time it may be hard for you to remember anything  but his recent suffering but memories of the wonderful times you spent together will soon replace them.

I am saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I can say with certainty that even as a youngster Mike was a humble, thoughtful and genuine individual which carried over to adulthood.  He was blessed with a wonderful attitude and so many other positive traits. To say Mike will be missed, well that don't hardly say it! I love you Mike.
Our loss is heavens gain. Bless you all. 

I'll never forget meeting Mr. Spicer. His daughter Tiffany is my neighbor. It was Halloween 2015 and I had just settled into my new home. I am a big fan of Halloween and was getting my candy bowl positioned on my table. I heard a car pull up in Tiffany's driveway. People began talking so I turned to see if we had trick or treaters. It was not tricker or treaters. Instead, it was Mr. & Mrs. Spicer who had arrived in full costumes. He was dressed as a hotdog, her a hamburger. I was so impressed that grandparents had dressed for the occasion,  I thought I have to have a photo! I shouted to them, may I go get my phone and please take a picture? They were game. 

Michael & Debra moved to Martinsville a couple of years after I purchased my home. He was always at Tiffany's house lending a helping hand - whether a main water line or a back up generator, Michael was there to help. He ALWAYS waived and took the time to speak with me. Such a soft spoken man with a gentle nature. Always wearing a smile on his face. I remember every time the Spicers arrived next door, which was often, I thought no better example of 'Father of the Year' or 'Grandfather of the Year'. From the pictures, one can tell that Mr. Spicer was very active in his families lives. He was up for any challenge his grandson Daniel would throw at him. He will be sorely missed!

When we moved in our home, Mike and Debra were the first neighbors that I got to know and we became friends. Mike was always such an easy going, quiet and kind man. Sympathy and prayers for all the family.

My Condolences goes out to the entire family, I had the pleasure of meeting  Mr.Spicer, Being his aide caring for him, just seeing his smile sometimes will make my whole day. The whole family was  very supportive and loving.. so from the whole Amedisys team it’s been a pleasure serving you.
