Otis McDaniel Nunn, 88, of Axton, VA passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018. He was born in Franklin County on April 30, 1930 to Clarence Leon Nunn and Dossie Mae Metts Nunn Wyatt.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Blankenship Nunn; sister, Marie Hodges; brothers, Billy and Joseph Nunn. He is survived by his daughters, Frances Carolyn Jackson (David), Dorothy Wyatt (Bob); sons, Larry J. Nunn and James Nunn (Lisa); grandsons, Jonathan Wyatt, Ryan Nunn (Lisa) and Alan Nunn and (Lauren); great granddaughter, Amelia Nunn; sister, Diana Nunn; brother Bobby Nunn; longtime special friend, Mae Stone, other special friends, Nathan Walker and David Perkins.

Otis was a long-time farmer, heavy equipment operator and he owned and operated the Liberty Street Market for many years. He loved his family, friends and bluegrass music.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. J.D. Harmon officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Roselawn Burial Park.

The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Frances and David Jackson.
