He is survived by his sister, Darnae Haynes Ayers, his niece, Tammy Lynn Delong; nephew, Robert Lee Watson; great nieces, great nephews; and many great friends.
Philip retired from the Henry County School System where he was a teacher for 36 years.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 on Friday, May 3, 2024 at McKee Stone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm and will be officiated by Pastor Joe Collins. An interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
