Reba Boardwine Lovell, 71, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on December 18, 2017, surrounded by her family.

Born December 1, 1946, in Lebanon, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Roy Campbell Boardwine and Anna Lee Boardwine.

She is survived by her partner Rand Tellstone; three sons, Edwin Eugene Finley of Collinsville, Christopher Eugene Finley of Salem and Brian Eugene Finley of Martinsville; two sisters and a brother, Evelyn Christine Willie and husband Thurman of Collinsville, Shirley Marie Sink of Martinsville and Roy David Boardwine and wife Janet of Ridgeway; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice, Rand Tellstone, and Marleen Carter for their loving care and respect during her illness. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with Reverend Billy Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville.
