To Bob's family and friends, I send my deepest personal condolences. I did not know Bob well, having met him a few years ago through VTLA. Yet I've heard so many good things about him from so many VTLA members, I most certainly do admire him. May he rest in peace and may his family and friends be assured by God's presence and comfort. Norman Thomas, Richmond, Va.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Bob. Although I only knew him for a short while he seemed to be a very good man. I will always remember that beautiful smile he kept on his face and I will never forget him coming home from work and sitting down at the piano playing Christmas carols. I am grateful to have known him. You are in my thoughts and prayers....my sincere condolences.

Bob has been a great friend for many years. It was easy to realize that Bob was a happy man, especially after he met and married Kellie. What a great love story when these two kind and generous souls met and decided to share their lives together. Bob was always willing to give you good counsel and fast to seek your viewpoint in many matters. Bob, a consumate professional, gave every case his 100% plus energy and skill. I'm sure that I join countless others who will find it easy to miss Bob and difficult accept that he has left us.
Of comfort is knowing that Bob was a Christian and of good standing with the Lord so we will all have a glorious homecoming one day where we will no doubt find Bob on heaven's wonderful golf course or sitting near the gate awaiting Kellie's arrival.
Go rest in Peace old friend.

I warmly recall Bob as a consummate gentleman and a peerless trial lawyer. He was always so gracious to me as his young associate, and so enthusiastic about sharing updates and developments in the cases he handled. A man of warmth and compassion, always with a quick smile. With His Lord now.
