Martha and Rob,
I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Bobby was a warm, thoughtful person who made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. He was a real "people person". I know he has missed your mom greatly. They were such a happy, loving couple. Few people seem to find such soul mates; they were so devoted to one another. They were also devoted to their community and their church. I know they created a wonderful example for you both, and they inspired many others. They will be keenly missed.
With Love,
Cathy and family

I met Mr. and Mrs. Thornton through the Martinsville Elks Lodge when they attended the Veterans Dinner and Christmas lunches over the years. They were very kind and always a smile on their faces. They were more active before I became a member but did have the pleasure to meet them. I am truly sorry for your loss - we shall miss this fine gentleman as a member of our Elks lodge. He will never be forgotten.
