Ruth Beale Haynes

Ruth Beale Haynes, 84, formerly of Ridgeway, died Saturday, November 06, 2010 at Blue Ridge Rehab Center of Martinsville. She was born in Rockingham Co, on May 23, 1926 to the late Robert Beal and Eula Austin Beal. She was a graduate of Danville School of Nursing and was retired after twenty eight years with Morehead Memorial Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty seven years William Haynes, one grandchild Philip E. Haynes, Jr., two sisters, Gloria Brewster and Hazel Church and a nephew Matthew S. Porter.

Surviving are her son, Philip E. Haynes, Sr. of Lexington, NC, and one grandchild Roxanna Haynes of Nashville, Tenn.

Funeral service will be held 4p.m. Monday, November 8, 2010 in the Martinsville chapel of Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service in the Martinsville Chapel of Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home.
