I’ve been thinking of your sweet mom all day. More wonderful memories flood my mind. I recall after Mr. Burns passed away, that my kids were always rushing to see who could get to her trash can first on trash days to put it out for the garbage truck. They enjoyed putting it back for her too. My youngest at the time, he was in kindergarten, he looked forward to getting her paper in the morning and putting it on her table outside of her door. He also liked checking her mail and taking it to her. She always made a big deal about how great they all looked at Halloween and always gave them extra treats. It always brightened our day to see her sitting in her chair, at her table, reading the paper. She was well loved and such a blessing to my kiddos. Thanks for the sweet memories. We love Mrs. Burns! My condolences to Mary Kathryn, Michael, and the Burns family. I feel blessed to have known Sally and Bob for many years and to work with them on the history of the Burns and Kearfott families. They were great people. Their memories will remain with me. Hold on to your memories of them.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Mrs. Burns. Oh how we loved to see her sitting outside on her beautiful patio. My oldest is now 23 then 17 and 14 but they ALL loved going to visit your Mom as soon as they got off the school bus. When your parents redid the walkway with the “HUGE” rock in the center, my oldest son thought that was so cool!!! To him it was like a mountain. Needless to say we all smile and get a good laugh out of it today. Let’s not forget the fish either. Not only my kids, but all the entire cul de sac kids absolutely loved getting to see and feed the fish. Your parents were extremely kind and caring. Every time we drive by the house, even today, my daughter says, “Remember how we always ran to Mrs. Burns house when we got off the bus? I wonder how she’s doing.” It was an honor and privilege to have been neighbors (5 houses down the culdesac) with your parents. May God comfort you during this difficult time. Thank you for sharing your mom with us all of these years.
