Terry Anthony Goodin, 49, of 2397 Horsepasture-Price Road in Ridgeway, died Sunday, April 24, 2011. He was born in Warm Springs, Georgia on November 1, 1961 to Joseph Arthur Goodin and Laverne Easter Goodin of Martinsville. He graduated from Martinsville High School and was employed by American Furniture for 16 years. He was a member of the Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Gerri Hensley Goodin of the residence; three daughters, Rebecca Ann Gibson of Axton, Whitney Webb Nolen of Martinsville and Kelly Nicole Goodin of Reidsville, NC; one sister, Donna Goodin Shelton of Axton; two brothers, Leon Goodin of Glade Hill and Jerry Goodin of Norfolk and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Horsepasture Christian Church. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 P.M. with Rev. Jimmy Woods, Pastor Dave Cuthbertson, and Rev. Tim Harville officiating. Burial will be private.
