Virginia Goins Wright

Virginia Marie Goins Wright, 85, of Ridgeway, Va passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. She was born in Ridgeway, Va. on November 16, 1933 to William Arthur and Callie Cobbler Goins. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin R. Wright; son, Michael D. Wright; brothers, William D. Goins, Junior M. Goins, James T. Goins, Lewis E. Goins and Billy W. Goins; sister, Mildred G. Dalton. Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and worked at Dupont. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ridgeway for 40 years where she was in the choir, joy group and willing workers Sunday School Class. She is survived by her son, Bobby Wright and his wife Lynn; granddaughter, Traci W. Reeves and her husband Nathan; grandson, Cody M. Wright; two great grandchildren, Knox E. Reeves and Nora Grace M. Reeves; brothers, Marvin D. Goins, Elmer L. Goins, and Cornell Goins; sisters, Francis G. Jefferson, and Gladys G. Fulcher. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home and will be officiated by Reverend Lewis Harris. Interment will be at Roselawn Burial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ridgeway, P.O. Box 715, Ridgeway, VA 24148.
