William T. Love Jr.

William Taft (Bill) Love, Jr., age 80, of Indian Trail, Martinsville, died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the Blue Ridge Rehab Center. He was born in Roanoke August 24, 1931, to William T. and Helena Aliff Love, both deceased.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Zoe Chapman Love, one son William T. Love III and wife, Robin of Irvine, CA; one daughter Mary Katherine Love-Walker and husband John of St. Inigoes, MD; three grandchildren, William T. Love, IV of Lenoir, NC, Claire S. Love of San Francisco, CA; Zoe Lee Love of Irvine, CA; cousins, Janet Love Campbell of Ridgeway, Carol Love Tate of Virginia Beach; Mary Love Rochester; Bill and Jeanie Curlee; Jesse and Jane Shumate, all of Martinsville. Also surviving is a cousin and long time hunting partner, Glen Bailey of Hot Springs, VA.

After serving in the National Guard and U.S. Army, he was employed by

The Lester Group and later owned and operated Love Wood Products. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Martinsville.

The family will receive friends at 917 Indian Trail, Martinsville.
