I remember his strong hand shakes on Sunday Mornings. The biggest memory of his bringing in his sheep from his farm for the Living Nativity in December at Christmas time. He had great control of these sweet animals. I remember my dad, Don Cassel driving out to Al's house and buying some eggs from the fridge on his porch. All you had to do is put your money in a jar and off you went. Such a trusting family they were. God bless you Albert and give your family comfort at this time.
Lovingly from Laurel Beals, also from my brother, Loren Cassel who has gone on before you.

Our deepest condolences to you Alice in the home-going of Al. He was a wonderful man and will be fondly remembered. There was never a time that we would pass him but what he had a smile and firm handshake. He will be remembered for the wonderful Christian man and friend that he was. God bless you and your family and grant you special peace. Lovingly Ron and Ann

My condolences to Alice and all the family. I have fond memories of Al's smiling greeting and sturdy, warm handshake during my youth and every time I returned to Pennway on visits to Lansing. He was a shining example and model of a follower of Jesus who impacted my life. We'll meet again "in the sweet by and by."

What an honor and pleasure it was to know Al. When ever you see him he had a smile. Always looked forward to waiting on him at Mason Elevator and seeing him at the fair.
God has added another true servant in Heaven.
RIP my friend.

Dear Mrs. Cook and the Cook family -

I was so saddened to learn of Mr. Cook's passing. He was such a kind person. I always enjoyed talking with him at Historical Society meetings and events and when we would see each other around town.

I pray that many happy memories, faith, and God's grace will sustain you in your grief. Blessings to you.
