I consider myself lucky to have been able to call Barb my friend. There was just something about her that sparkled, you could just feel her kindness, intelligence and humor. Blessed that we were able to share our passion and took several rides together the past two years at her lovely home. Watching her and Check at clinics was so inspiring as well. We will miss her greatly.

I knew Barb from brief moments while my mare was rehabbing at Carrie’s barn, however every-time she and I were at the barn together we had great discussions and she was one of the first people to welcome me when we moved there. Barb made sure to give my horse (Annie) treats when she visited and I made sure to give her mare (Check) attention when she was staying over this winter. Barb had such a big heart and a calm strength - I am still shocked to hear of her passing - my deepest condolences go out to you, I am so sorry for your sudden loss.
