Betty attended Walter French Academy before graduating from Holt High School. She married her beloved husband, Andrew "Andy" Hudson, and together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2018. A devoted wife and mother, Betty managed their farm and cattle while raising their three children.
She is preceded in death by her husband Andy Hudson; her parents Alfred and Dorothy Dilley; her son Steven Russell Hudson; and her brothers Earl, Russell, and Ronald Dilley. Betty was an avid gardener who took pride in her daffodils, strawberries, and rhubarb. She enjoyed birdwatching, scenic car rides, and playing cards with friends and family—earning a reputation as a "card shark." A member of the local community hobby crafting club, Betty also cherished traveling with her husband to destinations such as Spain, Majorca, Hawaii, Niagara Falls, and Wyoming. For over 50 years, she maintained the cherished tradition of having her hair done every Thursday.
