Charles Carlton Dolbee

Charles C. Dolbee Mason, Michigan Age 77, died March 19, 2013; born April 25, 1935 in Aurelius Township to Neal and Evelyn (Bateman) Dolbee. Charles was a resident of the Mason area all his life. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a farmer in his early years and retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Charles loved gardening and yard work. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen “Kay” of 52 years; daughter, Dana (James) Prater’’ two sons, Scott (Pam), Brian; four grandchildren, Serena (Kipp Dingman) Prater, Tucker Prater, Michael Dolbee, Matthew Dolbee; great-grandson, Tanner Dingman; sister-in-law, Joan Binkowski; brother-in-law William (Sandra) Bowen and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Eaton Community Hospice and Palliative Care, 2675 S. Cochran, Charlotte, MI 48813.
