Age 80, died April 26, 2015; born November 23, 1934 to Frederick and Viva (Coldiron) Cochran. Charmaine was a resident of Mason since 1970; born and raised in Lansing and graduated from Sexton in 1953. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mason. She had a great and crazy sense of humor; loved to travel here and abroad. Charmaine especially loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren; she was a very friendly and giving person. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Charmaine was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bowers in 1991; brother, James Cochran and sister, Lynene Skidmore. Surviving to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lagaia (Kurt) Simon; sons, Ronald A. (Martha A.) Bowers, Randell S. (Julie) Bowers; grandchildren, Alicia (Mark) Mancini, Courtney Bowers, Ronald Bowers, Jr., Shelby Bowers, Jackson Bowers; great grandchild, Gavin Mancini; sister, Kaylene Beach; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Cochran and several nieces and nephews. The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason with Rev. Dwayne Bagley officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Mason, Michigan. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Charity of Choice.
