Cory was born in Lansing, MI, on October 25th, 1970. He married his high school sweetheart, Dawn Alison Libby, on September 20th, 1991. Cory attended Holt High School and took electronics at the career center. After graduation, he took some college courses at LCC. Cory enjoyed many hobbies, especially fishing with his cousin, Jason, and hunting with his father, Fred. He also loved gardening and yard work. He had a passion for classic Ford cars, mainly Mustangs and Broncos and enjoyed working on his own vehicles.
Cory’s kind heart and fun, loving personality made him a multitude of close friends over the years. He enjoyed cookouts and parties with all of his best buds. Cory was honest, hardworking and very dependable. His #1 priority in life was to take care of his wife and children. He was patient and always there to lend an ear and to dole out great advice.
