Darlene Ward passed away at age 80, on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Eaton Community Palliative Care. Darlene was born on April 28, 1935 in Lansing, Michigan and was a lifetime resident of Mason. She was an avid MSU Women’s Basketball fan and enjoyed bowling, golfing, and camping with her children and grandchildren.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; daughter, Lori; parents, Bill and Ruth (Peters) Fisk; and sister, Lois Bullen. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Rick) Shuck of Williamston; son, Jerry (Teresa) Ward of Leslie; 6 grandchildren, Reggie (Jessica), Brad, Dan, Kelsey Shuck, Taylor and Morgan Ward; two great grandchildren, Gabriel and Addilyn; 2 sisters, Beverly Feazel and Kathy (John) VanHouten, and many nieces and nephews

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 13, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson Street, Mason, MI. The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the funeral home. Rev. Toby Teague and Rev. Julie Greyerbiehl will be officiating.
