I remember Dave's smiles. They were radiant, like the rising sun over the morning mist on the Santee Coopers, where we fished, laughed, and teased one another on our inability to catch fish. Dave had a laughter came from his heart and his generosity to help others never ceased to amaze those who knew him.
Though we called him Little Dave, he stood tall in his kindness and love of family. His humble and honest  character traits will forever reside as gentle memories within that special place, which makes us all better people for knowing and loving him.

My husband Goran was friends with him because my husband would spend a lot of time at "Not Just Guns". He says that Dave was always positive and friendly and he never spoke of his sickness in fact my husband is crying now because he did not know and misses Dave. Dave was an example of how people should be. God bless and comfort his beautiful family. A comfort from the Scriptures 1 Thessalonian 4 : 13-18

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words

To the Freville family,
We at MSU Logistics are saddened to learn of Dave's passing. He was a friend to all. We looked forward to seeing him everyday. In his absence from work we thought about him often. His joy of life and love of family was evident. We are better for knowing him.

Dave was my best friend. We did so much together.. talking about life, shooting, getting into trouble, pool, snowmobiling, boating.. He was such a great man, father, and friend. He was always there for me. I hope his kids become like him because he was as good of a person I know. Love you Dave,

Sending my deepest condolences for your loss. I worked with Dave for several years and he was always such a genuinely nice guy and super hard worker! Whenever he was asked to come help me, he was so nice about it and always tried to do more than expected. Just really awesome guy. He will truly be missed.
