David, when Jared was nominated to Texas Boy’s State you took us to your VFW and made sure Jared was hooked up with his flight and some other things needed for this once in a lifetime trip for him. You were very kind and reassuring.
In getting to know you and Virginia over the rears I know God put angels in our path. You are one of them.

Uncle Dave,
I still cannot believe that you are gone. Your memory and spirit will live with our family forever. I want to thank you for your years of service, both to our country and to our family over the years. Words cannot express how much you will be missed. Heaven has gained yet another beautiful angel and I know you will be watching over us eating pupusas with Mamamema in heaven. Rest In Peace until we meet again.
