My brother Don, loved by many understood by few. You were so much a positive part of more lives than you knew or thought, you never had clue, but I and the many knew.  I know you are pissed that the many morn, shoud be hunting,working or what ever we would be doing on any other day, but we do. 
 I have told many people that my brother wrote his own screen play for his life, not a conservative or even at times intelligent bet, it is all in all the time.  During your short time with us you showed everyone to grab or attack life with viger and vitality.  You had a zest for life that few have or the capacity to understand or comprehend.  I just want to thank you for letting me be a part of those memorble, sometimes scary times.  Now you are missed by many but still understood by few.  You to quote a friend of mine "you never left anything on the table,'  I have always understood at times enviois, lots of times disagreed, but always loved you.  I think give'em hell is probably more applicable then rest in peace, you have never rested.  Just Ed

We are sorry for you lost and He will never be forgotten  ... For all the bread requests that I had ... Lol ... It's something about his bread that I loved ... He will always have a special place in my heart and always will have the best tasting bread I ever had ... He will always be the bread man ... Wished i got to know him more ... We love u all ...   Smoke my brother,
Looking back on life seems that we were happiest when we had nothing;
 We could do anything because we had nothing to lose. 
 Smoke my friend, thank you, and thank you for showing me how to live!
 Thank you for being my brother. Though we came from opposite sides of the world, it was
 our adventurist spirits that brought us together that fateful day in September 1978.
 Your free spirit and love of life inspired me and we quickly became brothers with an unbreakable bond.
You're bigger than life laugh and heartwarming smile will always be remembered.
Your compassion and generosity which you would sometimes try to hide, was too large even for you to disguise.
The experiences we shared are so numerous it would take a very long time to explain them.
 One of them was in my 62 Porsche a on our way to Michigan in 1982.
  in the middle of the night some place in West Kansas, you tested  how hard you could push that old Porsche.
  As the speedometer pushed 100 mph, the car started to rattle , I looked over at you.
 Was that fear?
You said that you needed my help,
 would I watch the speedometer?
  I had to really trust you that night. 
As the speed approached 109 the car swayed in the wind, 
was that a drip of sweat I saw on your face? 
 at 114 my live passed before my eyes.
 You must really have been a good friend as I really wanted to see where I was going to die,
 but my eyes never left the dash .
With a curve coming up in the road ahead we both knew it was now or never,
 I glances into your eyes saw that devilish grin and knew we were living.
 119 mph !!
  The fastest it would ever go !  the book says it will only go 117 so you pushed the envelope again,
 That is how you lived,
 I would always trust my life in your hands, 
 You are now in God's hands, my brother.
 Most people are lucky to have one true friend for each of 5 fingers,
I've gone thru life blessed because I only need one.
You . 
I knew that should I ever need you would be there for me.
  You were always bigger than life
 Thank you for being in mine.
 I'll see you on the other side.
