I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Don.  It seems like he was just here, diagnosing my mower.  I became concerned after not hearing from Don this summer.  He was truly one of a kind.  I always admired his knowledge, candidness, humbleness,  and the great conversations we shared over the past fifteen plus years.  Don's ethics were impeccable; he should have taught ethics to anyone going in business.  Instead of trying to make an extra buck, he strived to find a way to save people money, and always took great pride in his work.  I'm happy his constant busyness  was a reward for his efforts.  I will treasure my last bottle of his prided syrup.  He was irreplaceable.
Prayers of comfort and Peace to his family and friends.  May you always honor him through special memories.  He truly had a spirit that will live forever, and will be missed.

Such a great friend for so many years, I already miss your ever present smile. Thank you for so many great memories. I’m going to seriously ration my last bottle of syrup. Rest In Peace my friend.  🙏🏻

Don was always willing to help and rarely asked for help. He always picked activities that required a lot work.  I had many conversations with don and never ran the refrigerator empty talking about work, farming and fishing. He always had new plans and ideas. Even faced with illness he was making plans after he got through it. He was always looking forward. It is with a sad hart to hear of the passing of great man and good friend. RIP buddy

Don was a great guy...and a fine employee...who worked for us and our customers for many years.  He was always  "straight-up" and fair to deal with.  
I took Don for an airplane ride one time - telling him he would really enjoy it.  Upon landing, he said something like:  "Thank you, but I will not be doing this again!"
Don will be missed ...for sure.
