Douglas A. Poufcas

Douglas A. Poufcas, 56, died August 22, 2014 in Lansing, MI. He was born July 16, 1958 in Lansing, MI to Peter and Barbara (Evans) Poufcas. Douglas was employed with General Motors for 38 years. He was an avid outdoorsman. Douglas was a videographer with the City of Mason at City Hall. Douglas is preceded in death by his mother Barbara. Surviving are his daughters Kailen (Luke) Cameron, and Marissa (Matthew) Swab; son Kyle (Pamela) Poufcas; the mother of their children, Julie Poufcas; 2 grandchildren Pilot Swab, and Lux Swab; father Peter Poufcas; 3 brothers Nick Poufcas, Tommy (Lori) Poufcas, and Billy (Karen) Poufcas; 3 sisters Suzie Thiesing, Cathy Poufcas, and Diane (Dan) Helms; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Mason First Church of The Nazarene, 415 E. Maple, Mason, MI 48854, officiated by Rev. Gerhard Weigelt.
