Ed Wharton

Edward “Ed” Wharton, age 72 of Mason, Michigan, passed away on March 15, 2023. He was born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania on August 17, 1950 to Samuel and Mary (Baen) Frame. Ed enjoyed cars and was a member of multiple car clubs. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lynn; children, MaryJane (Robert) Thall, Sue Eisenaur (Jeremy), Tammy Wharton (Mike) and JoAnn (Demond) Betts; step-sons, Michael (Jennifer) Barnes and Matthew (Brandy) Barnes; sisters, Betty Rivera and Linda Clark; and grandchildren, Cameron, Joshua, Victoria, Alexis, Ryan, Caitlin, Jacob, Makaila, Kody, Xavier, Stephen, Liam, Adalynn, and Hayleianah; also survived by 5 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Gorsline Runciman Ball-Dunn Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, Monday at 1 p.m. with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Casual dress is requested.
