Gale Lee Hatch

Gale Lee Hatch was born on February 12, 1958. He passed peacefully on August 8, 2026 surrounded by immediate family. Gale loved MSU Football, the Detroit Lions, Nascar, Bowling, Hunting, John Wayne and watching wrestling every Monday and Friday with his wife. Gale also loved being a father and grandfather and spending time with his grand-fur-babies, Alissa, Charlie, Dixon, Penelope “AKA Bella,” and Truffles.

Gale is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Christina) Hatch; son, Jake (Kristen) Hatch; mother, Shirley Hatch; grandchildren, Annastasia, Katie, Shawn and Leo; brother, Scott Hatch; niece, Lacy (Eric); and nephews, Scotty and Chase; honorary daughter, Becky (Brian) Joyner, as well as many close family and friends.

Gale was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hatch; father, Clyde Hatch; brother, Clyde Hatch, Jr.; sister, Holly-Ann Leonard; and grandson, Michael Hatch.

Funeral services will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home in Mason, Michigan, Monday, August 17 at 2 p.m. with visitation starting at 12 p.m.
