Garry Wayne Mishler

Mason, Michigan

Age 64, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 due to complications of pneumonia and heart failure. Garry had a large blended and extended family with many considering him a chosen father or grandfather. He was an auto mechanic for Sears in Lansing before he retired.

Garry is survived by his life partner, Anne Exford; three daughters – Michele Barnaby, Lainie Marvin, and Courtney Mishler, a son - Ryan Mishler; nine grandchildren - Amanda Pena, Mycheal Barnaby, Jacob Barnaby, Kiersten Gowdy, Shyanne Marvin, Caleigh Barnaby, Taylor Mishler, Devon Skaryd and Brooke Mishler and two great-grandchildren - Elizabeth and Bruce Pena. Garry is also survived by his mother, Elaine Boyd, two brothers - Mark and Lynne Mishler and one sister, Connie Gilbert.

A funeral service will be held on September 2, 2015 at 5:00 pm with a meal to follow at the Mason Community Church located at 1000 E. Columbia St. in Mason. Visitation will take place beginning 2 hours prior to the service at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the family.
