Gladys Ione Gibbs

Gladys Ione Gibbs born February 2, 1935, 11th child born to Clare and Margaret Raymond, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to meet the Lord Saturday, August 25, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Gladys has been a Mason resident all of her life. She loved her family with everything she had and loved cooking. She was a very gracious, loving lady who gave unselfishly. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, LaVern Gibbs, Sr., four children Paula (John) Lienhart, Barb (Ed) Mullin, Verna (Rick) Wagner, LaVern, Jr. (Debbie) Gibbs, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 2 year old granddaughter, Melissa Wagner. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at 12:00 P.M. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, Michigan. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
