Age 87, died May 22, 2015; born November 12, 1927 to Harry A. and Ida (Krauss) Richardson. Harry served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He married the love of his life on Christmas Eve and that was always a special holiday. Harry was an avid aviator; he enjoyed woodworking, sports, and life in general. He very much enjoyed his Vantown Church family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 63 years, Shirley Lou Richardson; and 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, James (Susan) Richardson, Daniel (Ione) Richardson, Apryl (Bryan) Droscha; 13 grandchildren, Jade (Mary) Richardson, Christina (Blake) Updyke, Andrew (Darcie) Franklin, Amanda Richardson, Garrett Richardson, Jenny (Dave) Tanck, Chris (Amanda) Kapp, Phillip Hinkley, Lacey Hinkley, Hope Willshaw, Jessica (Justin) Stahl, Casey Droscha, Bryce Droscha; 11 great grandchildren, Tristen Green, Jadyn Richardson, McKenzie Franklin, Ashland Bannon, Connor Tanck, Jeremy Tanck, Noah Tanck, Mason Tanck, Madeline and Emily Kapp, Elizabeth Stahl; brother, Larry (Carolyn) Richardson, and sister-in-law, Marjorie Clearwater. The Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vantown Community Church, 3504 E. Howell Rd., Webberville, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, Michigan with the Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be 1 hour prior to the service at the Church.
