OBITUARY

Helen Louise Pant

September 8, 1956June 28, 2019

Helen Louise Pant, 62, went home to Heaven June 28, 2019 surrounded by her husband and children.

Helen was born September 8, 1956 in Corpis Christi, Texas.

Anyone who knew Helen knew her passion was her family and friends. She touched the lives of everyone she knew. She made everyday brighter, everyday better, and brought so much love to anyone who knew her. She helped so many even through her own hardships. Helen lost her oldest daughter Rebecca Adams, February 7, 2017. Her strength and love touched all who knew her. Her favorite three words were love, faith and hope.

Helen's joy came from the time she spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren. They were her heart and soul. She loved family gatherings and spending as much time as she could with her loved ones. She loved shopping with her grandkids and attending their sporting events. She also loved vacationing in Florida or anywhere warm. She enjoyed trips to the casino for some fun. Helen also enjoyed spending time with her friends from work. She worked for the State of Michigan for 42 years and just recently retired in February 2019.

Helen was diagnosed with Stage 2 Pancreatic Cancer in May 2019. She fought each and everyday even when some days were harder than others. She never gave up the fight. The cancer caused some irreversible complications. Helen is now joined with her loved ones and her Heavenly Father. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.

Helen is survived by her husband (Steve Pant), daughter (Rachelle Adams), sons (Raleigh Adams III), and (Corey Pant), brothers (Rob Swan and Albert Juderjohn), sister (Janet Blythe) as well as their spouses and her 9 grandchildren.

Helen is joined in heaven with her oldest daughter (Rebecca Adams), stepdaughter (Lisa Pant), and her parents (Ola and Elmer Juderjohn).

I met Helen in middle school, we had classes in college together and were each other's "wing girl" on Friday nights. We were bridesmaids in each others weddings and went through first babies together. Life happened and we reconnected a few years ago and have kept up with each other on face book. She was a special lady and she loved her family so much. I will forever carry memories in my heart of Helen. Prayers of comfort for all she had to leave on this side. I have absolutely no doubt that she is smiling in Heaven.

To all who love Helen,
Helen and I were friends in high school, and although that was a long time ago, she was someone who stayed in my heart, and I was so glad to be reunited via Facebook. Her faith, like her family is everything.

I'll continue to pray for all of you in the days ahead. Our hope is found in the Great Reunion, and in the presence of the LORD, who redeems us from this life! I'm sorry that I can't join tomorrow, but know that I'm remembering you, and thinking of Helen in her new heavenly home, with her loved ones.

As the mother of our beautiful daughter-in-law, Rebecca, who passed February 2017, and grandmother to our beautiful grandchildren, Brooklyn and Noah, we grew to love Helen’s generous, kind and loving heart. Without her, there will be a space in our family that cannot be filled. Even though we will miss her greatly, our comfort is that she is in the arms of Jesus, whole and healthy. We can only imagine the glory that now surrounds her!
