Joan went to be with the Lord while surrounded by her loving family on December 17, 2011. She was a very kind and sweet woman who will be missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael and Larry. Surviving are her husband, Donald; sons, Dennis (Gayle) and Steve (Lisa); grandchildren, Jason (Cheryl), Chad (Kira), Carrie (Steve) Fusse and Sarah Lockwood and special friend Brett Pletzke and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Mason, 131 E. Maple Street, Mason with the Rev. Bill Pinches and the Rev. Fred Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Leek Cemetery, Mason. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
