JoAnn Maurine Wigman

JoAnn M. Wigman passed away peacefully on May 20, 2023 at the age of 92 years at home with Sparrow Hospice Care and daughter by her side. JoAnn was born April 17, 1931 in Lansing, MI., the daughter of Maurice and Cora (Evans) Cole. She graduated from Holt High School, class of 1949. She worked and retired from Farm Production Credit Services and Greenstone - a job she greatly loved. She now will be at peace joining her loving family. Husband, Loren B. Wigman; sons: Michael L. Wigman and David C. Cole; and daughter, Sue Ellen Webb. She was also preceded in death by her beloved parents: Maurice and Cora Cole; and sister, Ellen Cole Diehl. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and cousins from Hart, MI, whom she considered all her family. Surviving her is devoted and loving daughter, Cindy Wigman (Jim Carter) and daughter in law: Bonnie Linn Wigman. Family wants to thank her special neighbors: Baileys, Fansons and Hanlins who were always there for her. And family Dr. Timothy Wellemyer from Holt, MI who gave her excellent care. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 10 at Aurelius Baptist Church - 4419 W. Barnes Rd, Mason, MI 48854. Visitation will be from 10am-11am with a service at 11am with a luncheon to follow. Donations can be made to Aurelius Baptist Church or Capital Humane Society - 7095 W.
