Joe Louis Duquette, 31, of Leslie, Michigan passed away February 25, 2014. Joe was born February 5, 1983 in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Mason High School in 2001, and worked at the William Reichenbach Company. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns, knives and spending time in nature. He was talented and creative, making his own jewelry and was good at cross-stitch. He loved country music and The Doors.
Surviving to cherish Joe’s memory are his wife, Robin (Padilla) Duquette; mother, Denise (Jim) Crowl; father, Dan (Lou) Duquette; sisters, Tonya (Todd) LaMothe, Jamie (Jeremy) Haynie, and Ashley King; brothers, Chad (Kirsten) Groulx, Derek Crowl, and David (Meredith) Crowl; grandparents, Sally Duquette, and Colin and Betty Crowl; and step-daughters, Brittany (Craig) Freebairn, Sarah (Cody Urdialas) Padilla and Paige Padilla.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Mason Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, Michigan 48854. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the Mason Chapel. Memorial contributions made by made to The Leuko Freaks c/o Mark Minshall, 111 E.
