John R. King of Mason, age 88, died July 24, 2011. He was born March 4, 1923 in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. John was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Koslowsky) King. He was employed by Jervis B. Webb as an operating engineer and was an active member of the All Saints Lutheran Church in Mason. John’s final days were spent surround by his 8 children, Judy Tuttle, Laura Lane, Cindy Evans (Rick), Dallas King, Peggy Swauger (David), John King (Mickey), Janice King, Donald Dean King and two sisters, Ruth Eggertson and Irene King of Toronto, Canada. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at the All Saints Lutheran Church, 720 W. South Street, Mason, MI. Interment will be in Hawley Cemetery, Mason, MI. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S.
