Juanita Louise Hawkins

Born July 4, 1943 in Mason, Michigan to Ford C. and Pauline Marie (Grimm) Hawkins, passed away on February 16, 2016 at the age of 72. Juanita was raised in Stockbridge and graduated from Stockbridge High School. She was a long time resident of Mason. Juanita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and adopted mom to many others.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Lawrence Hawkins; daughter, Kathy Boerner; brother, Howard Hawkins; sister, Judy Hawkins.

Surviving are her daughter, Julie (Dan) Rathbun; son, Larry (Margaret) Hawkins; brothers, Robert Hawkins, Albert Hawkins, Dick (Judy) Hawkins, Charles Hawkins, Ronald (Linda) Hawkins, Harry Hawkins; 4 grandchildren, Nick Hawkins, Jake Hawkins, Jeremy Rathbun and Nicole Rathbun.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI 48854 with Reverend Wes Emerson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday February 19, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and on Saturday February 20, 2016 from 11:00- 1:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI 48854.
