Remembered as feisty yet welcoming, Kalli’s bright, bubbly nature stood alongside a deep kindness. She had a gift for being outgoing and loving, taking people in and treating them with care. Kalli cherished time with her friends, including Mariya Valdez, Summer Hensley, and Anthony Karkau. Her friends remember her as being full of life whenever she was around them, evident by the many bonfires she would host. The passing of her brother, Tristen, in 2023 affected her deeply, and Mariya and Anthony were her glue during those times.
Her life was marked by a spirited sense of adventure with an eagerness to explore, see new places, and try new things, especially new foods. She loved visiting Tennessee so she could go to Bojangles, Silver Lake, and trips to Ohio with Summer. Shopping was a favorite pastime of Kalli’s, and she would often go to the nail salon to have her nails done.
Kalli is survived by her parents, Jeffery Hays and Tiana Hays; sisters, Chelsea Elkins and Cathleen Seaton; grandparents, Connie Hollon and Marlyn Tamer; aunts and uncles, Don and Jackie Hays, Ron and Jody Hays, and Michael Wetmore; nieces Adriana Nyland, Aspyn Nyland, and Ryleigh Nyland; as well as many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tristen Hays, and her grandfather, Ron Parker.
Kalli’s family would like to extend a huge thank you to Kathy Juckett, Isabelle, and Stephanie for advocating for Kalli’s health and making sure she was heard at her appointments.
