Karen Joyce Matney, 80, died December 17, 2021 in her home in Mason, MI. She was born August 28, 1941 in Jay County, Indiana to Ralph and Violet (Ziegler) Hartman. She retired after 17 years as a manager at Quality Dairy, Co. in Lansing. She was a deacon at Eden United Brethren in Christ in Mason, MI. She showed love to everyone she met.
Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Matney, Sr., her Son, John, Daughter-in-law, Barbara, Parents, Ralph and Violet, Brothers, Dewayne (Margret), Raymond (Maxine), Charles and Dean (Donna).
She is survived by her Children, Billy Matney, Jr., Julie (Darrell) Ray, and Anita Matney, Mark Browning, 6 Grandchildren, 3 Brothers, Marvin (Nina), Lowell (Janet), John (Betty), and Thurl (Betty), and Sister Eva (Herman) Coleman.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday December 27, 2021 at 11a.m at the Eden United Brethren Church, 1938 Eden Road Mason, MI. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the services. Entombment will be at Deepdale Memorial Gardens, 4108 Old Lansing Road Lansing, MI.
