Although Kathy and I had lost touch over the years, we had found each other again recently, regrettably only by letter and phone.
Kathy and I were childhood friends and like sisters! I vacationed with her, Grace and Cecil and she with my family. I stood up for her when she and Bill married and loved them both!
My heart goes out to the boys, who I know were the light of her life, and to all who loved her!
I am so saddened by her passing but hold MANY fond memories of Kathy in our childhood and teenage years!
Godspeed and much love dear friend!

I met Kathy at IISD and we became quick friends. She took me under her wing and she was the "Queen" of wit and sarcasm. I will remember her smile and laughter all the days of my life. She would laugh so hard her eyes would water, and she always referred to her close friends as "babe". Babe, I will miss you and never ever forget you. We went through many phases together and survived them all. I will never forget spending the night with you several times after a fun night of scrabble . We would laugh so hard--talking all night about your teenage years and the pranks that you played and continued to play your entire life. The best prankster ever--Oh, I love you so and my heart goes out to the Boys and all that knew and loved you. RIP and have a glorious eternal life as even Heaven needs a Prankster...just to keep it interesting. Love you Roadie. XXO

I met Kathy thru a mutual and very close friend many years ago. I had the privilege of being her hairstylist for a few years, she was alot of laughs and spoke very proudly if her son's. My thoughts and prayers to her family.
