Katie I’m so sorry I didn’t even check in with you over the years. I am torn about  hearing  of your passing it’s truly heartbreaking, you were so kind to me. You made me laugh just by giving me that look, I love hiding with you when I was supposed to be working, you were my friend and you were a real good person , truly beautiful from within. Hope to see you up there one day my friend.

The world has lost an angel.  I hope that heaven is welcoming and all of the comfort and love that you deserve. To your family and friends I wish everyone my deepest condolences. I hope the grieving process is complete and swift. I miss your hugs and hope to enjoy one again when my time in heaven comes. Love you, Chris

You were there to talk to when I lost my grandmas and lost my job. You were someone who could take everyone's b.s. and put a spin on to make everyone feel better. Now I just dont have anyone to cry to or complain that I lost my best friend. You are great person. Miss you, but I know you will always be with us.

I just wanna say I miss you and I wish I could have said goodbye I wish I had more times to tell you all the things that I could we grew up together and we were pretty close I just hope your in a better place now and I love you greatly 

Joe, Christopher & Family:  I'm deeply saddened by your loss of Katie Jo.  It is such a difficult time when losing a loved one. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.  

I am Katie Jo's Aunt. On June 24, 1989, I was heading to the Detroit Airport to catch a plane back to my home in San Diego, CA. My Mom said, "guess what Kathleen had her baby."  I came home to Michigan every 2-3 years. Katie Jo was always there with her Mom and Dad. I mostly watched her observing people. She was always quiet and shy even with family. I remember her Mom, Kathleen trying to help Katie Jo with her homework. One project, Kathleen asked me to count the number of appliances plugged into the wall but not in use.  I last saw Katie Jo at my Mom's 80th birthday party. My Mom would always gush about how she liked babysitting Katie Jo except that she was a picky eater. I always loved Kati Jo unconditionally. She was beautiful and kind and she was so protective of our son Joshua during his visits. I have a favorite picture of her sitting on the trampoline with him and talking with him in a gentle voice. He was two and a half years old. Katie Jo, I could never have imagined that you would be gone at such a young age. You are missed. 

I miss you so much and I have no idea what to do. I just hope that you are at peace now. I love you so much it hurts. I now have to go on without you and try to find a way home. Try to reset my life around. I always kept the promises I made to you. Katie was home for me!

I am SO SORRY to hear that Katie Jo passed away!!!  I was a neighbor ever since Kathleen and Joe met, got married and was excited to hear of their addition to the family!!!  No words can express my sorrow and I pray that God wraps his arms around Joe, at this time, and he can feel the LOVE God has for him at this time!!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Katie as a quiet girl. When Kathleen came to visit me after Bryan was born, she brought Katie and she had such big eyes and was so curious.
