

Kenneth served in US Army Airborne Unit for 21 months during the Korean War. In 1951 he was honorably discharged as a Private First Class. During his time in the Army, he earned many military awards, including the Korean Service medal, the United Nations Service Medal and the Combat Infantry Badge. He was also a member of the Mason Kiwanis Club.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Earl Cronk, Edith Pollentier, Nora Leverich, Victor Cronk, Leo Cronk and Ora Cronk. Surviving to cherish his memory are his nieces and nephews, Dee Laird, Frederick Cronk, Allen Cronk, Michael Cronk, Jasper Leverich, James Leverich, Nancy Quick, Nolla Praim, Wayne Cronk, Raymond Cronk, Roger Cronk, Roger Smiley, Charles Smiley, Richard Betz, and Charles Betz; and a very special Thank You to all of the dear caregivers at Country Creek.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Ball Dunn Chapel, 621 Jefferson St., Mason, MI. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
