

Mason, Michigan
Born January 2, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan to Jesse and Mary (Brown) Weaver, passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 93. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1949. Kenneth served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany during the Korean War. Following his military service, Kenneth worked in the Central Michigan University Print Shop. In 1954 he hired into Oldsmobile and advanced his career into the Experimental Assembly as a Journeyman, retiring in October of 1987. In 1955 Kenneth married Billie Jean Quinlan and they were married for 63 years. Together they raised three daughters and enjoyed working on their horse farm.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Billie Jean Weaver; two sons-in-law, Eugene VanLancker, Arthur C. Day Jr.; brothers, Jesse A. Weaver and Albert Weaver; sister, Mary Bliss. Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving daughters, Rebecca Day, Rochelle VanLancker, Christine (Matthew) Cimala; 9 grandchildren, Arthur C. Day III, Charlene M. Day, Jennifer R. Newcomb, Kenneth R. Day, Sarah C. Day, Janelle M. Day, Taryn R. VanLancker, Branden C. VanLancker, and Alisha D. Thomas; 24 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at St. James Catholic Church, 1010 S. Lansing St., Mason, MI 48854. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI 48854 and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan located on North Fancher Street.
