Luana Helmic

It is with sadness that the family of Luana Susan Helmic announces her passing after a brief illness, on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at the age of 75 years. Luana will be lovingly remembered by her son Richard Helmic and her daughter Ginny Kelling. Luana will also be fondly remembered by grandchildren Angel Helmic, Caleb Van Pelt, Noah Van Pelt, Elijah Helmic and Sam Kelling, by her brothers and sisters, Hazel Ardner, Tresa Kessler, Becky Beckler, George and Jim Cook. Luana was predeceased by her husband Gary Helmic, son Jon Helmic, her father George Cook, mother Goldie Cook, brother Benjamin Cook, and her sister Evelyn Snyder. Luana's Memorial Service and Gathering will take place September 29th at 2:00 PM. The location is Rives Baptist Church 2800 W Berry Rd, Rives Junction, MI 49277 Phone: (517) 569-3457. There will be a time afterward of light refreshment, fellowship and remembrance. At her request, members of the Grand Rapids Threshold Choir sang to Mom at her bedside just a few days before she passed.
