I have been trying hard to find the right words, and sadly I think they will never come. I just mostly want to say goodbye to my grandma. I really believe she was the last of her kind, she was the embodiment of an entire generation of American women and will be forever missed. I love you and will miss you grandma. Until we meet again

Our loving grandmother, These past 8 months we had with you will forever be treasured. The memories we made will last a life time. We are sad we lost you but so very happy you're in a higher, happier place where you can be at peace with your parents and grandpa. One day we all shall meet again, on the white bench under the rainbow. Until then you will continue to live in all of our hearts.
Love Always

Not my grandmother, mother, aunt or sister, but mom to Cindi, my friend since 3rd grade, and mom to the guy I dated in high school. How she held it together with 6 kids and moving around all the time, I will never know. She must have had a strength that went so deep that even she didn't know it was there. Though I hadn't seen her in years, she was just one of those people that you assumed would "always be there," and I will miss knowing that now. Lori (Balch) Saylor
