Passed away peacefully at home on October 13, 2013 at the age of 72. She was born February 9, 1941 in Lansing, Michigan. She retired from the State of Michigan after 22 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and beloved grandkids. She enjoyed working in her yard and watching the Tigers and Spartans. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Winona Kempton and brother, Daniel Kempton. Surviving to cherish her memory are four sons, Brett Burley, Traverse City, MI, Brian Burley, Mason, MI, Bruce Burley, Lynnville, TN, Brad (Audra) Burley, Leslie, MI; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Austin, Grand Ledge, MI; step-brother, Richard Long, Mansfield, OH and first husband, Robert Burley, Lynnville, TN. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Capitol City Church of God, 6228 Bishop Rd., Lansing, MI 48911 with Pastor Steve Totten officiating.
