Michelle Louise King, 64, from Leslie, Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, with her beloved husband, Michael, by her side. She was born on November 3, 1961, to Margaret Benner (Marciniak) and James Wilson.
Michelle is survived by her loving husband, Michael; her sister, Paula Eldridge; and her brothers, Chuck (Chris) Benner, Orin (Cheryl) Benner, and Todd (Carla) Benner. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, several brothers and sisters, and her many cat and dog children.
Michelle will be remembered for her warm heart, her devotion to family, her unique passion as a collector of all things Miss Piggy, and her love for her cat and dog children, which brought her much joy and reflected her vibrant and playful spirit.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. When you think of her, take a moment and celebrate her in the best way she preferred. Light it up!
Visitation with the family will be on May 20, 2026, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home 621 S Jefferson St., Mason, MI 48854. A picnic celebration is being planned for a date in June. More details to come.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice at Holt Senior Care and Rehab Center, and direct contributions be made to any local food bank, soup kitchen, or any local homeless shelter.
