Phillip Eugene Kilbourn, born on April 28, 1948, in Mason, Michigan, passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 77. Phil worked for 55 years as a cashier at Meijer. He loved his work and enjoyed telling jokes to his customers. He spent his off time at Liberty Coins where he enjoyed the camaraderie and searching for rare finds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolphus and Dorothy (Boisture) Kilbourn; brother, Paul Willard Kilbourn; brother-in-law, David Warren Maters. Surviving are his sisters, Linda Maters and Laura Huttenlocker; nieces and nephews, Andrea (Nick) Ficarella, Jeffrey (Farnaz) Maters, Nick Huttenlocker, Evan (Amy) Maters, Emily (Justin McGuffin) Maters; great niece and nephews, Nathan Huttenlocker, Dylan Maters, and Olivia Ficarella.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00-2:00 pm Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Gorsline Runciman Mason Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson Street, Mason.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Care Team Hospice or the charity of choice.
