Age 56, died December 18, 2011, born on April 6, 1955 to Robert and Pauline (Dunnfelder) Richards. Robert served in the US Army and worked for The State of Michigan Department of Corrections. Robert enjoyed traveling, bowling, fishing and spending time with friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Shawn and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Loreen, daughter Stephanie (Tim) Strickland, son Robert (Shannon) Richards, grandchildren, Taylor, Samantha, Mackenzie, Chance, Melissa and Shawn, brother Milton (Lauranne), sisters Mary (Michael) Parks, Clara (Daniel) Miller, several aunts, uncles, here and overseas, six nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service.
