Bertie we met working together at the lab at Sparrow, I just found out that you have left this physical world. The few years that we worked together and hung out were memorable. I will never forget your smile and laughter. It is not always the quantity of time you have had with a person but the quality. My heart is heavy with what you must of have went through, but I know that you most likely comforted your loved ones more than you allowed yourself to be pampered. I know that someday our paths will cross again in a beautiful place that you now call home. So until that time comes please smile down and know my heart is smiling back.

Sending my Love and Prayers to Bertie's family and friends. Though I have known her for 35+ years (from roller skating days in high school), it was wonderful to have reconnected with her over these past few years. We were able to share our stories of surviving breast cancer and gave each other HOPE and support. My heart aches for you, but I know we will all meet again one day. Missing you.....

My deepest sympathy to the Fields family and to Christopher Selover.

When I am gone release me, let me go. I have so many things to see and do you must not tie yourself to me with tears, be happy that we have had so many years. I gave you my love, you can only guess how much you gave me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, but now it's time I travel alone. So, grieve a while if grieve you must---then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for awhile that we must part so bless the memories in your heart. I won't be far away for life goes on--so, if you need me call and I will come. Though you can not see or touch me---I'll be near and if you listen with your heart you will hear all my love around you soft and clear. And then when you must come this way alone---I'll greet you with a smile and--
Welcome home.

Let her memories warm your heart forever.
