Such a wonderful man. He will be missed by so many. Thoughts and prayers. Never forget when he reminded me to watch for cars when crossing the street as I was only bumper high. Such a sweet kind soul. Always made me smile

Hi Demelda, Very sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I graduated with Ron in 1959 and remember him as a guy that always treated me with friendliness and respect. I saw him a few times at MSU Purchasing Dept. where I worked and he was selling salt and services to MSU. I was calling folks about coming to our 30th reunion and I talked to Ron about attending, as he was reluctant to show up. He said, "Vaughn you know I am quite a bit bigger than some folks will remember me and I get tired and embarrassed re-introducing myself. I told him that most of us have gotten bald, lost some teeth, are fatter, have a record, or are in a wheelchair! We all only remember the "old days" and don't care what the present may seem to be. God bless you and Ron and your parents who raised good kids.
