Sue graduated from Marlette High School and married the love of her life, Clinton G. Rockwell on August 8, 1964. Together they celebrated 57 wonderful years together in Dansville, MI. Sue loved her family and dedicated her life to raising her three boys. She was also invested in the Dansville community where she worked as the Village Treasure for over ten years, was a longtime standing member of the Ladybug Club, and was active with the 4-H Extension and the Cub Scouts. Outside of all of her involvements, Sue loved to travel with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Together, Sue and Clinton visited 31 states; her favorites were the six week trip to Alaska and 13 years of wintering in Florida. She loved card games, reading, bowling, her doll collection, but most of all she loved and appreciated her time spent with family.
Sue is survived by her loving husband, Clinton G. Rockwell; her three sons, Brian (Katrina) Rockwell, Brad (LeAnn) Rockwell, and Jeffrey (Loretta) Rockwell; her four grandchildren; Nicole Rockwell, Tyler Rockwell, Jayden Rockwell and Gwendalyn Rockwell; her step-grandchildren, Chris Dodson and Kalli (Eric) Holmes; her brother, Ken (Marlene) French; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William L. French; her daughter-in-law, Tina Rockwell; and her grandson, Alex Rockwell.
